Megan: Why do Sikhs not have to wear crash helmets? I don't see why it's only them that get let off.
John: They'd have to cut their hair to get a helmet on, and it's against their religion. What's it to you anyway? Does it make any difference?
Megan: Some people would get angry about that.
John: Why? My Dad says that no-one made a fuss about it in the war when they were fighting for England.
Megan: What?
John: Well, he says in the war there were Sikh soldiers here. Nobody told them they had to cut their hair and go back to their own country.
